Women's Retreat at Magnify

April 12-14, 2024
RELATIONAL WISDOM IN AN EMOTIONALLY- CHARGED WORLD

Register here.

Cost: $130 (scholarships available upon request)
Where: Sky Ranch - 6758 County Road 130 Westcliffe, CO 81252

Topic: How can we thoughtfully navigate emotionally charged situations with people where we live, work, and play? In the highly charged interactions with the people we love and those we are working to love? How can we experience internal peace amid relational stress during hard conversations or challenging relational situations? How can we build and strengthen relationships in everyday conversations?

These questions are the primary targets for our retreat. This retreat provides biblically rooted relational wisdom with practical, love-in-action skills, enabling us to have gospel-rich responses in crucial conversations.

Strengthen relationships God has given us by learning how to:
• Show value for others through active listening
• Communicate respect by asking questions instead of making statements
• Respond effectively in emotionally charged situations
• Seek and give forgiveness from the heart

Speaker: Patti Damiani
Relational Wisdom is something Patti Damiani says she had to learn experientially as she became aware of the need to tone down her direct approach- learning to have a “gentle tongue” in her speech. As she grew incrementally, Patti began to pass it on –to disciple women toward spiritual maturity as well as impart wisdom relationally.

Today after years of being a pastor’s wife, a disciple-maker, a Women’s Ministry leader, and educator, she now focuses on equipping ministry leaders to be relationally wise via discipling, coaching, and training workshops (i.e. Productive Conflict, Leading with Relational Wisdom, Coaching Skills for Ministry Leaders). Patti is also a conference and retreat speaker.

Patti and her husband Lou live in Traverse City, MI. They’ve been married 53 year and have four married adult children; sixteen grandchildren; and one great-grandson. She enjoys playing pickleball, hiking, being in nature, cooking, and having good conversations with a cup of coffee.
